Panagiotis Simatos and Eleni Simatou working together in the 342 workshop

342 Team

Greek character. Nordic simplicity. Made for everyday life.

At 342 and Inside Gallery, our approach is simple: clean lines, practical design, quality materials and furniture that should remain relevant for years. Our aesthetic combines the warmth and character of Greek living with the restraint and functionality of Nordic design.

Through 342, we design and manufacture custom furniture around each space and the way it will actually be used. Through Inside Gallery, we offer carefully selected furniture and interior products for homes, professional spaces and hospitality projects.

Fourth Generation · Custom Furniture & Manufacturing

Meet Panagiotis Simatos

Panagiotis grew up around the family furniture business and craftsmanship was always part of everyday life. After spending eight years in the UK, he returned to Kefalonia and began developing the custom furniture side of the business with a more contemporary approach to design and production.

Since 2021, as the fourth generation of the Simatos family, he has led the custom manufacturing side forward, modernising the workshop with new production equipment including CNC technology and professional edgebanding machinery.

Today, Panagiotis focuses on 342 custom furniture and solid-wood work, combining digital precision with hands-on woodworking. Each piece is developed around the dimensions, materials, function and character of the space — with an emphasis on simple lines, practical use and long-term quality.

Meet Eleni Simatou

Eleni oversees the retail and artistic side of Inside Gallery, bringing together furniture, interiors and her own work as a painter. Originally from Kefalonia, she began painting Byzantine icons at a young age and later moved into oil painting, focusing particularly on still life and portraiture.

Her work is created on gesso boards, canvas and linen, and her studio is located at Inside Gallery in Argostoli. Alongside her own collection, Eleni also creates commissioned paintings in oils and acrylics, developed specifically for a client, a particular interior or a personal idea.

Her work also includes portraiture from sittings or photographs and plein-air painting in Greece and the UK.

Our Story

Inside Gallery — Over 60 Years in Furniture

The story of P. Simatos Bros. (Αφοί Π. Σιμάτου) spans more than 60 years and four generations in furniture. In 2002, the fourth generation of the Simatos family established Inside Gallery in Argostoli, Kefalonia, continuing that experience through a dedicated showroom for furniture, interiors and personalised solutions.

Inside Gallery works with selected Greek companies chosen for their quality, design and value. Alongside retail furniture and interior products, we can adapt dimensions, plan solutions around the space and support both private and professional projects.

From private homes to hotels, rental properties, Airbnb accommodation, restaurants and other professional spaces, our aim is to offer practical, well-made solutions that fit the way each space is used. Today, this experience works alongside 342, bringing together retail, custom manufacturing and solid-wood craftsmanship.
